Introducing Groop - The easiest way to plan holidays & meetings with friend groups

Let me introduce you to Groop, a product I've built out of pure frustration. Every time I wanted to meet with friends or plan a holiday it was a hassle of constant back-and-forth messaging to check who was available when.

That's why I created Groop, a simple and free solution. It works like this

  • Go to groop.cc
  • Create a Groop (Eg. summer holiday 2025)
  • Send the link to friends
  • Everyone can select available dates on a calendar
  • The dates when everyone is available are highlighted in green

It doesn't get more simpler than this. No account creation required. No more back-and-forth-messaging.

Check it out: groop.cc

9 questions we answered to go from idea to $$$ in 30 days👇

1. Are people talking about the problem or looking for a solution on social media?

2. Will people pay to solve this problem?

3. Who will be our primary customer?

4. Can we develop a solution that addresses the core problem within 2-3 days?

5. Will this solution add value either by saving time or money for the user?

6. How will we reach our primary customers to collect feedback and get 10 sales?

7. How will we collect testimonials from early adopters?

8. How can we bring 1,000+ users to our website?

9. What data do we need to track to gain insights?

ProductHunt Launch Tips?

Hi all,

I'm gearing to launch in ProductHunt this week. I know there is plenty of criticism around the platform so I am going into it with low expectations but I think it has to be done, at least for some discovery.

I was wondering if there are any tips that you would recommend for someone doing this for the first time?

I have polished my landing page quite well, fixed most bugs and will prepare a great intro with a follow up comment. Anything else to keep in mind?

Thanks,

Dite

Would You Use an App to Create Social Media Posts with AI ?

Hey everyone! 😊

I’m thinking about building an app for people who work with social media. Here’s the idea:

* You can craft engaging social content with adjustable tones.

* AI-designed images for every platform.

* Find trending, high-impact hashtags.

* Auto Scheduling & Posting – Streamline multi-platform publishing.

* Performance Insights – AI-driven content improvement suggestions.

Before I dive into this, I’d love to know—would something like this be useful for you? If not, what would make it helpful? I don’t want to build something no one uses, so your feedback means a lot! 🙏

Thanks in advance!

Marketplace to connect former founders with forward-thinking companies

I quickly built a Lovable prototype inspired by this tweet: https://x.com/BarunBuilds/status/1895780096595935506

X Founders is a platform dedicated to helping former founders navigate their next career move. We understand that the journey after a startup doesn't always follow a straight path, especially when a venture doesn't succeed as planned.

Many traditional employers view a "failed" venture as a red flag rather than recognizing the tremendous growth and learning that came with it.

The goal is to connect forward-thinking companies with former startup founders who need to go back to the corporate world.

I'm looking to see if this is something startup founders might be interested in. If so, I'd do some more discovery. If not, it was a quick way to learn how to use Lovable!

By far the easiest way to validate your SAAS startup idea.

Need to validate a product idea for a SAAS? it's very easy. My rule: if 20 ppl don't say "I'd literally pay for this" then I don't build it.

It's very simple. Just msg about 50 people in your niche (keep it short) and ask them if they would pay for your SAAS. If some say yes, keep messaging more people until you've got around 20 people that say they would pay for it.

It's so easy and builds some kind of waitlist.

And now, you've got real people waiting for you to launch your product and at least some will pay for it.

I swear ProductHunt is just a circlejerk

Not to mention the amount of bot-like comments. Even the human comments feel inorganic now.

I remember people used to actually ask real questions a few years ago. Asking things about roadmap, research done, funding, pricing, etc. Now it's just 20 comments that all say "Love this!" or "Grats on the launch (thumbsup)"

Looking for early user/dev for my pSEO boilerplate

Hey everyone,

It's decided, I'm building directories with programmatic SEO and I finally decided to make a boilerplate to reuse it and build a community and sell it in the end.

Before to start selling it I want to make it as good as possible and for that I'm gathering a little group to join the early community, test it, give feedback and of course having access to all the stuff I build for it.

Are some of you interested ? Let me know

Looking for a Technical Co-Founder to help build a recursive Kanban system

Hello! I’m working on a project called Kanban Kanban — a recursive Kanban board where any card can open into its own Kanban (like Russian dolls for tasks and projects). You can view the landing page for it here where I explain the idea and collected sign ups for a wait list:

kanbankanban.com

The idea came from struggling with large tasks and tiny tasks sitting side by side on the same board, which then do not move for weeks. Really, these shouldn't be on the same "layer", and should instead be classified as a "project" (a collection of tasks). And then projects can be collected together as "goals". Like how Epics/Stories work in Jira.

So the core idea behind Kanban Kanban is to bake this structure in from the start. Instead of handing you a blank canvas, we start with a Kanban board, and each new card added to it is a container for another layer of Kanban boards. This way you can go as deep or keep things as shallow as you like.

I posted the idea on Product Hunt yesterday and ranked 14th. Got about 75 sign ups to the wait list so far, and 18 people filled out a survey gathering further information.

It may not be a lot, but if anyone is interested in partnering up, I am currently open to connecting with potential technical co-founders to help build this and bring the idea to life!

Thanks!

Seeking Feedback for Quizard.io: Help Us Improve!

Hey everyone!

We’re working on a new app called Quizard.io that automatically generates quizzes and flashcards from your study materials to make learning more effective and fun. We’re currently in development and would love to get your thoughts on how we can improve.

One feature we're planning to add is quiz and flashcard sharing between users to make studying more social and engaging. If there are any students among you, or anyone who thinks this could be useful for students or someone around them, we’d love to know how you think this could benefit them. Are there any current features you think could be improved or expanded? Any specific tools or functionalities you’ve always wanted in a study app that we could include?

Kanban Kanban: Validating a Recursive Kanban Concept — Would Love Your Feedback!

Hey everyone! I’m working on a project called Kanban Kanban — a recursive Kanban board where any card can open into its own Kanban (like Russian dolls for tasks and projects).

It is probably easier to visualize by checking out the landing page here: kanbankanban.com

I’m still validating if this solves a real pain point though, so would love any feedback.

Instead of handing you a blank canvas, we start with a Kanban board, and each new card added to it is a container for another layer of Kanban boards. This way you can go as deep or keep things as shallow as you like.

Would Kanban Kanban be useful to you? Any obvious flaws? If validation goes well, I am also open to connecting with potential technical co-founders to help build this.

Thanks!

Is AI-Powered Personalized Food Delivery the Future?

I’m working on an AI-driven fresh produce delivery platform that sources vegetables and fruits from scientifically tested soil to ensure purity and nutrition. Our AI model analyzes health conditions (e.g., diabetes, heart health) and recommends personalized food choices, optimizing supply chain efficiency and reducing waste. Customers receive curated weekly subscription boxes based on their needs.

Would you trust soil-tested vegetables and AI-based nutrition recommendations? What challenges do you see in making this work? Looking for honest feedback!

Working on this idea, what do you guys think?

Last week, I had a spark of inspiration and immediately took action on this product idea. Here’s the core concept:

- Founders: Post your problems, set a bounty, get real solutions fast.

- Solvers: Solve challenges, earn cash, help startups grow.

It’s a win-win for builders and problem-solvers. No more vague forum threads—just results.

What do you think? Feedback’s welcome!

Halfmoon by Reve Art is worth it.

I have been writing more recently as part of my marketing initiative. Thought I'd do a demo of a popular AI image model, and I am astonished at the quality of images with 1 shot-prompting.

here are my 3 evaluations

Create a hyper realistic sunset of Santorini

This actually is quite realistic. 8/10 for sure. ( the neighborhood is called Imerovigli)

next up:

An astronaut riding a horse on the moon

finally a more practical test:

A logo of my company called Auspicious but just use the AU and create a reference to the element gold because AU is short for the element gold in the periodic table make it minimalistic

I am impressed.

Would you pay $49 to test if your startup idea has real demand before building it?

Most founders waste months coding things nobody wants. What if you could validate your idea in just 7 days?

Here’s how it works:

✅ Tell AI your idea → It creates a landing page for validation.

✅ We run targeted Facebook ads ($10/day for 7 days) to attract real users.

✅ After 7 days, you get:

Clicks, engagement, & email sign-ups (your first potential users).

Real proof of demand—so you know whether to build or pivot.

I’m testing demand before launching this. Would this be valuable to you? Let me know your thoughts!

Auto recharge automation for government toll

Hey all, want opinions on this idea. In my country, the government owns highway tolls and doesn't offer an automatic recharge option when out of funds. Lots of people forget to recharge and then get hit with a fine. I am curious if I could make a SaaS that automates this recharge on the government software so that people never get hit with a fine. Is this possible?

Low-Hanging SEO Tactics for New Startups🍇

If you have recently launched your product and want to get started with SEO, here are 5 things you can do within 2 weeks:

1. Launch your product on platforms like Product Hunt, Uneed, Micro Launch, Startup Stage, Betalist, Huzzler, etc. (Try to get a few testimonials before launching)

2. List your product on niche directories (e.g., 100+ SaaS and AI directories, 20+ boilerplate platforms, 50+ design platforms).

3. Create a "link in bio" page for your startups using tools like Linktree, Bento, Bio Site, etc.

4. Write a couple of articles on Medium (as they will be indexed within 24 hours).

5. Create a free business account on Pinterest. (Try to get 5-10 followers for the account and include the link on your landing page or on already indexed pages to get indexed by Google.)

Feel free to add any other SEO tactics that have worked for your new startup!

Struggling with Price Localization & Discounts for My Android/iOS App — Any Advice?

Hi everyone,

I’m working on an iOS/Android app and need some help with price localization. Specifically, I want to run a 20% discount on my main price across multiple regions, but I’m not sure if I have to manually update every country’s price or if there’s a more efficient way.

I’m using RevenueCat, and I’d like to show the original price (crossed out) alongside the discounted price on my paywall. Has anyone done this successfully? Would love to hear about any best practices, tools, or resources that could simplify the process.

How to save money using Perplexity AI

I have had proven success in finding discount coupons and grants via Perplexity. Read below for the breakdown. Proof is in the video at the bottom!

Finding Discount Codes with Perplexity AI

Perplexity AI excels at finding current discount codes for various services. Here's how to use it effectively:

  1. Visit Perplexity AI: Go to perplexity.ai and create an account if you don't already have one.
  2. Formulate a Specific Query: Instead of asking general questions, be specific. For example:
  • "What are the current working discount codes for Squarespace?"
  • "Find me the best discount for [service name] in March 2025"
  1. Verify the Results: Always test the discount codes provided by Perplexity AI, as some may have expired or have specific conditions.
  2. Ask for Alternatives: If a discount code doesn't work, ask Perplexity AI for alternatives or to search for more recent codes.
Discovering Startup Credits and Resources

Perplexity AI is particularly valuable for founders looking to maximize their startup's resources:

  1. Find Cloud Credits: Ask Perplexity AI about available cloud credits for startups. For example:
  • "What AWS credits are available for early-stage startups?"
  • "How can a new startup get free Google Cloud credits?"

Need your thoughts : A Next.js programmatic SEO boilerplate

Hey there,

I've build directories and use programmatic SEO for my project, which drive traffic more than any other way.

I'm currently preparing a third directory, but I really think about making a boilerplate first (with Next.js/Supabase, the stack I use ), to be able to reuse it easily, sell it and building a private community around it and pSEO.

What do you think about that ?

Seeking data scraping ideas to develop - a dev

Hey folks!

Just joined Huzzler from Reddit, and I’ve gotta say—I’m really liking the UI and the overall vibe of the community. Feels like a solid place to be.

Quick intro: I’m a senior full-stack dev with over 10 years of experience. Yesterday, I was catching up with an old friend, and we started talking about selling APIs that provide exclusive data for businesses that rely on raw stats for decision-making.

That got me thinking—what kind of data is actually hard to find online? Something important enough that people would pay to get access to it. Could be niche industry stats, real-time insights, or anything else that’s not easily available.

Curious to hear your thoughts. Let’s discuss.
