Any tips for designing a landing page?

I'm currently designing a landing page but I'm very bad at design. It feels like I don't know what I am doing. How are you guys handling design? Do you copy existing designs or design everything yourself?

Any libraries or tools I might be able to use? I use next.js

Starting out, no one knows what they're doing! Just look for landing pages you like & copy the best parts over to your site (try startups for up-to-date aesthetics). For more inspiration, check out sites like Dribbble or Awwwards.

Try using Tailwind CSS if you aren't already. Helps make styles across pages/components look super consistent + lets you build much faster. For libraries, check out shadcn/ui (https://ui.shadcn.com). It's easily the most popular modern-web component library. Also look at Aceternity & Magic UI for more advanced components (https://ui.aceternity.com, https://magicui.design). Your favorite sites are most likely using components from them.

But most importantly, don't give up! No designers started out as experts. The learning curve may be steep, but over time, you'll get there as well. :)

You can check out landing pages on Dribble and other sites. Find a good one and use it as inspiration for your project by sharing a link to lovable.

There are short term wins like @harvansh mentioned.

however, in the long term, you need a brand style.

for example, I prefer minimalism. So I have started iterating over this theme and I reuse / modify from project to project.

Here is an example of a website that inspired me: https://www.realreview.space/products/ab634a69-9b2f-4540-9251-77b88a995018

first you will have to write the idea of ur landing page, if u are not good at it, u will end up something very irritating. so use chatgpt, make it undertsand your site concept then ask for landig page copy.

If you run into any issues, just holler. Iโ€™m the daddy of these AI builders ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚โ€”designed Unrealshotdotcom from scratch using them. No big deal.
