For me it was getting the first few members. Without social proof, convincing people to join is hard

Yeah, that’s such a real struggle. You need social proof to get people in, but you need people in to get social proof. It can be super discouraging, even when you know the idea is solid.

I only just joined Huzzler and already really like it — you can tell there’s care behind it, and the vibe feels refreshingly real 🙌🏼

The main issue is the design 😅 i find it hard to find a good inspiration or a stepping stone to start.

Totally feel you on that! Finding the right inspiration (that doesn’t just lead to a rabbit hole of endless scrolling 🙈) can be such a block. What helps me is looking at inspiration that’s already a bit more structured. I really like Awwwards collections (https://www.awwwards.com/collections/) — they’re categorized by topics like "minimal design" or "portfolio websites," which makes the research more focused.

Another one I like is Cosmos (https://www.cosmos.so/discover/ui-ux) — feels more curated compared to the chaos of Pinterest. Could be a good starting point if you're trying to define a direction!
