"milestones roadmap" for tech founders to navigate their journey from 0 to 10M in ARR

I am working on a "milestones roadmap" for tech founders to navigate their journey from 0 to 10M in ARR.

The roadmap is based on my ~15 years of experience as a founder, an operator, an angel investor, and as a consultant.

It will have ~7 or 8 major milestones and then smaller achievements in between that need to be covered (almost chronologically) to increase your chances to get to 10M in ARR.

A few examples of major milestones are:

* Nailing your ICP definition -> Based on market feedback

* Aligning your product (MVP) with your market (ICP) to head towards PMF

* Mastering the founder-led growth stage by honing your sales skills

Each of those milestones have different specific tasks that you need to accomplish in order to progress to the next.

What do you think of this?

This sounds solid. Most roadmaps skip the messy stuff in between. If you can lay out those ugly in-between steps , it'll actually be useful. Curious to see how you lay it out.

Indeed, those in-between steps are the key, and also what make this project rather ambitious.

I'm reckoning how I should break it down into valuable parts to build an MVP that delivers value enough to retain users, but is not so big that I end up building a mamuth.

Any ideas?

BTW, I'd love to see the other roadmaps you are referring to.

Yeah, totally — just starting with a couple deep tracks like ICP to PMF sounds like the sweet spot. You show real value without going full mammoth mode. Most roadmaps I’ve seen either oversimplify or skip those gritty parts — yours already feels more useful. Keen to see how it shapes up!

Yes, that makes sense. It is indeed where I've been focusing too, as this is where ,my product research ahs led me the most often.

This is what I've been working on: https://samwise.quest/the-0-to-10m-arr-quest/

I'd love to know what you think, candid feedback is more than welcome.

In particular, in trying to get to an "Aha Moment" (you would start here: https://samwise.quest/)
