I know the feeling. I feel like 10 years ago it was much easier to find a problem to solve.

Mostly by observing other businesses, in real life or social media.
Many great idea's already exist and just need some improvement, therefore its best to aim for a red ocean strategy regarding coming up with a new business

This and experiencing working in a business. For me, I was asked to produce a static spreadhseet about 3 years ago which prompted me (as a developer of 25 years) to ask myself "This is super useful, how would I automate this?" Fast-forward 3 years and I bring you Metaport :-)
