I’ve been working on Hive5, a peer-to-peer rental app that lets people rent out items they already own (tools, cameras, sports gear, cleaning equipment, etc.) and earn extra money, while others can borrow what they need nearby without buying it.
The big idea is simple:
Your community can basically share one massive “toolshed” that no single home could ever afford or store on its own. 🔧🏡
What we built / how it works:
- List items in minutes
- Rent locally from real people
- Security deposit system to help protect owners + build trust
- Rewards for early listers who download the app and start listing items early (helping the marketplace get moving)
