Huzzler appreciation post

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share how posting and interacting on Huzzler was so much more useful then other mediums.

I posted about my work and what I'm building - already got a lot more feedback and opinions then twitter. There it feels like I'm just posting into a void.

On top of that I got in touch with David (DG) Gordillo trough Huzzler. David was extremely helpful and even helped me get on a call with a Senior Sales Manager and she gave me so much insights on how can I shape the product I'm building. Now I get how people build great offers, I feel like I just got allowed to cheat in the product building game. But it's not cheating it's a fundamental part.

A platform like this really has potential and it can help people in their journey.

Hopefully this gives the Huzzler founders validation and motivation to continue working on this.

Have a great weekend guys.

Thank you so much for this post. Really made my day (even week), so thanks a lot😁

Right now I’m kinda doubting 2 approaches for Huzzler. Not sure which to choose.

1. I remove the founder feed from the homepage and put more focus on the community aspect of Huzzler. I’ll add verifiable MRR + I’ll make it so you can post updates for specific projects. I’ll also add country to profile screen and cooler profile pages.

2. Keep the founder feed on the homepage and write multiple high quality articles. However I’m a solo founder which means there will be less time to focus on developing the community aspect

What do you think I should focus on?

And thanks again for your post man 😉 can’t tell you how much I appreciate it

Glad to hear that!

I would personally say 1.

I don't think that the posts you write have low value - but I also think that it's not really fitting the platform.
In my opinion I would put these posts somewhere else or just start a personal blog.

I think there is a lot of leverage and marketing material for you where you can focus on the fact that what we post here will be seen, head and discussed.
That's very different from other main options like Twitter.
This platform also seems more honest, people are not flexing their watches and cars on my face 24/7 and the algorithm favors that.
"Just post high value bro" while most high engagement posts on twitter end with `Comment "PROFIT" if you want my stupid ass PDF that actually won't solve anything`.
I understand that there are skill issues on my side as well, I'm not a marketer but I also don't see why should I need to have PhD in marketing to have some people see what I'm working on.

I think Huzzler is positioned great to solve that pain point and you can leverage that.

Would love to hear opinions of other members on this and whether they feel the same.

Thank you so much for this honest feedback. I can really say I'm 100% with you.

You are really right, when you post on X almost no one sees it. And every time I open x I almost see daily posts of "Made $8K MRR with this SaaS, buy my boilerplate now". It's not real.

I should focus on differentiating from X and Reddit in that Huzzler has real people, real verified MRR and real posts. I might even add KYC and ban AI posts.

So thanks again, I've granted you lifetime Huzzler black, as this kind of detailed feedback is of incredibly valuable to me.

And laughed my ass off with this: Comment "PROFIT" if you want my stupid ass PDF 😂😂 It's so true
