Agency Just Starting Out (Web Dev + Financial Modeling) – How to Get Clients?

Greetings Fellows,

I hope you're all having a great day!

I'm in the process of launching a service-based agency with a primary focus on Shopify development, website creation, and financial modeling. I have a skilled team in place, and our website is set to go live in the next few days.

As someone just starting out, I’d genuinely appreciate your honest advice. What step-by-step approach would you recommend for getting our first few clients? Are there specific platforms, outreach strategies, or general best practices that have worked for you or someone you know?

Any insights or suggestions would mean a lot.

Thanks in advance!

What worked best for me is looking where my customer hangs out, for you it might be on ecommerce forums or facebook groups of shopify sellers and trying to contact them there directly. What also works good for me is commenting on reddit posts. Providing value and just reminding them that you also offer services for them. 😁 Paid ads like google look attractive, but they are mostly a waste of money and time. 2 hours spent commenting on reddit, forums, facebook groups and dm'ing will get you the best results
