Alterable puts images in your emails that are drawn again every time someone opens them. A countdown shows how long is really left on the sale, whether the email was opened on day one or an hour before it ends. A product block shows the prices and stock you keep current in Alterable as they are at the moment of the open, not as they were when you hit send.
You build everything in a visual editor without writing code, then paste one image tag into your template. It works with Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, ActiveCampaign or any other ESP. The only part that changes between them is the merge tag.
What you can build:
- Countdown timers, with fixed or evergreen deadlines
- Dynamic images and products that change by device, location, weather, time, date or language
- Local maps drawn around each reader’s city
- One-click surveys, and polls that show the live split of votes
- Scratch cards that reveal a prize
- Slideshows of two to five slides in one animated GIF
- Critical messages: a banner that stays hidden in emails you’ve already sent until you switch it on
Paid plans also come with a REST API and an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can create timers and images and fetch embed codes for you.
The Free plan includes 5,000 impressions a month. Paid plans start at $19/month.
