Makerkit is Giancarlo Buomprisco's Next.js starter for TypeScript founders who need organization accounts, roles, and billing. The flagship kit is Next.js 16 with Supabase, Stripe, a super-admin, and a Turborepo. Other paid kits cover Next.js with Drizzle or Prisma and Better Auth, TanStack Start, React Router, and Expo. Each stack is a separate license.
There is no public hosted demo, but you can open the public docs and run the setup from there. Want to see how the code is put together before you buy? Makerkit Lite is a free MIT repo with the same Turborepo, without billing, team accounts, or the super-admin.
Pro is $349 once for one GitHub seat. Teams is $649 for up to five members and a private Discord channel. Both include unlimited projects and lifetime updates on the kit you licensed. Extra seats are $99.
That B2B setup is the gap versus ShipFast, which is cheaper and has no organization accounts. supastarter is the closest peer at $299 Solo, with more payment providers on one license.
