Authentication, payments, email, database, and SEO wiring in the Next.js starter.

ShipFast is Marc Lou's Next.js starter for solo founders who want a paid MVP without rebuilding authentication, billing, and email from scratch. You get Google OAuth and magic-link authentication (NextAuth), Stripe or Lemon Squeezy payments with webhooks, MongoDB or Supabase, transactional email via Mailgun or Resend, SEO tags, a blog, and conversion-focused landing page sections. The repo is available in JavaScript or TypeScript, and in both the App Router and Pages Router. Marc's public work now goes to TrustMRR, his verified-revenue marketplace, so this is a weak pick if you want founder-led community help.

It stays lean on purpose: no multi-tenancy or heavy admin at launch. That is why it ranks high in our SaaS boilerplates catalog for speed, not for B2B depth. If you want a fuller foundation with multi-tenancy and admin, compare supastarter. Prefer a marketing-site generator? See Shipixen. Building a directory? Use Dirstarter. Score breakdown

Overall Huzzler Score 4.4 / 5
Features: 4.6 out of 5
Covers authentication, payments, email, SEO, blog, and landing sections well. Skips multi-tenancy and heavy admin on purpose.
Value: 4.9 out of 5
From $199 one-time with unlimited projects and lifetime updates. Strong price for the hours saved on Stripe, authentication, and email.
Docs & updates: 4.5 out of 5
Clear docs and a short launch path. Updates are infrequent by design so you are not chasing breaking changes.
Ease of use: 5.0 out of 5
Clone, set env vars, go live. Built for solo founders who want a paid product in days, not a framework tour.
Community & support: 3.0 out of 5
Marc's focus is TrustMRR. His July 2026 numbers put that marketplace at $44k and ShipFast at $4k, and his public product updates are TrustMRR, DataFast, and Ship or Die. shipfa.st still shows 8,000+ makers, but that is leftover from when ShipFast was his main product.

Frequently asked questions

Is ShipFast a subscription?

No. You pay once ($199 to $299 depending on plan), get lifetime updates, and can reuse it on unlimited projects.

What stack does ShipFast use?

Next.js with Tailwind. Authentication via NextAuth (Google OAuth and magic links). Database: MongoDB or Supabase. Payments: Stripe or Lemon Squeezy. Email: Mailgun or Resend. JavaScript and TypeScript, App Router and Pages Router are both available.

What's the difference between Starter, All-in, and the CodeFast bundle?

Starter ($199) is the full Next.js boilerplate. All-in ($249) adds Discord, Leaderboard, and partner discounts. The $299 bundle adds CodeFast, Marc's coding course.

Can I get a refund?

No. Once you have repo access, ShipFast is yours and isn't refundable. Confirm the fit before you buy.

How does ShipFast compare to supastarter?

ShipFast is cheaper and leaner for a fast Next.js MVP. supastarter costs more and adds multi-tenancy, an admin panel, full translations, a typed API layer, more payment providers, and a Turborepo aimed at longer-lived B2B products.
