A judo match is run entirely by the referee's voice. Hajime starts it. Matte stops it. The calls cut through the noise of a full hall while both fighters keep their grips and their eyes on each other — nothing in a match is ever read off a screen. And the sport's best idea is the freeze pair: sonomama holds the action exactly where it stands, and yoshi resumes it from that exact position. Nothing goes back to zero.
Intertakt runs interval training on that arrangement. A clear voice announces every HIIT and Tabata interval and the halfway mark; countdown beeps sit over your own playlist, and each channel — music, voice, beeps — has its own volume. Start the session, put the phone face-down on the mat, and it keeps time with the screen off for the rest of the workout. An incoming call is sonomama, not a forfeit: the round resumes from the exact second it stopped.
The free tier is unlimited: 0 ads, ∞ sessions, 0 accounts — a timer is the last thing that needs a login. Premium adds unlimited custom plans, history and JSON export, and it is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Built with Flutter, offline-first. Coming soon to Google Play; the waitlist and founding pricing are open at intertakt.com.
