LithoCanvas

LithoCanvas is an Android app for people who collect minerals and art. Photograph a rock, mineral, gemstone, crystal or painting and the app suggests what it is. Mineral results come with an estimated confidence and typical properties such as hardness, crystal system, color and luster. Art results suggest style, medium, era and composition. You check each suggestion yourself; the app gives no valuation and no authenticity verdict. Each find goes into a private collection with your photos, your notes and a voice note about where it came from, and artworks sit next to your minerals. For collectors there is a Mohs hardness test, a size estimate with a coin for scale, side-by-side comparison, a wishlist and a glossary of mineral terms. The app has no ads. Accounts, records and photos are stored in the EU, and a photo goes to the recognition service only after you agree. Every account includes 5 identifications. More identifications and cloud sync come with optional monthly or yearly plans through Google Play, while manual records and data export work without one. In English and German. Made by Senorit.
