🚀 Fakebook – A Friendship-First Social App

I started building Fakebook out of boredom—just to see what I could create. It evolved into a full-featured social app that puts friendships at the center, while still offering the features people expect today.

• Interest-based suggestions and page content are blended in when relevant—but never dominate your feed
• Built with Flutter and Riverpod for UI and state management
• Backend powered by .NET and SignalR for real-time updates and SQL

• 🌓 Dark mode – clean and accessible visual design
• 🔔 Push notifications – include user avatars and content previews
• 📄 Profile, group, and page feeds – each with independent state and scroll tracking
• 🧠 Smart suggestions – fallback content seeded to avoid repetition and clutter
• 🤝 Friend request system – connect through mutuals and see shared history

I focused on real connections. Your feed is mostly from people you care about. Suggested posts and page updates only appear when your network is quiet—it’s meant to be social, not sensational.
