Migrating my fully made project to Next.js to tackle SEO and indexing challenges

Iโ€™ve been facing some serious challenges with SEO and indexing on DubaiDiscoverer.com. Despite having a fully developed site with both frontend, backend, and a working database, Google crawlers couldnโ€™t read it properly. Itโ€™s been super frustrating, especially since Iโ€™ve tried several solutions.

I started by adding Helmet to handle SEO, but that didnโ€™t solve the problem. Then, I spent 4 hours trying to implement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), but it still didnโ€™t work. Honestly, itโ€™s pretty surprising that Replit, Lovable, and Bolt.new havenโ€™t provided a solid solution for this.

So, after a lot of back and forth, Iโ€™ve decided to fully migrate DubaiDiscoverer.com to Next.js. Iโ€™m hoping this will finally resolve the SEO issues and make Google indexing work properly. Iโ€™ll keep you posted in the coming days on how it goes and what results I get (fingers crossed that the transition to Next.js leads to better results!)

Anyone else dealt with similar challenges? Would love to hear your experiences and insights.

Exactly โ€“ Iโ€™m wondering why theyโ€™re not doing anything about it. Right now, Iโ€™m struggling with Next.js in Cursor, and I have the feeling that Cursor handled Vite + React much better than Next.js โ€“ I'm really having a hard time fixing it.

I will, because I'm really curious myself how it will turn out and what the results will be.
